She released 4 albums (‘Kiss’, ‘Tug of War’, ‘Curiosity’ and ‘Emotion’). She has won lots of prizes, for example, for Best Song, in MTV Europe Music Awards, with ‘Call me Maybe’. In 2012, for the breakout artist, on Teen Choice Awards, with the song ‘Call me Maybe’, and also the Choice Summer Song, for the same song. She also had 2 nominations to the Grammy’s, (Song of the Year, and Best Solo Pop Performance) in 2013, also with the same song, ‘Call me Maybe’.

Charitable Work
Carly Rae Jepsen has supported the American Foundation for AIDS Research, Cancer Schmancer Movement, City Year, Grammy Foundation, MusiCares, and Pencils of Promise.

TV work
She participated in the 5th season of the reality television competiton ‘Canadian Idol’ and placed third, and was part of Canadian Idol top 3 concert tour, and, because of this Jonathan Simkin, a music manager, signed a management deal with her.

Family
Her parents are Alexandra Lanzarotta and Larry Jepsen. She has a brother called Colin, and a sister called Katie. Her family loves music.

I think that she is a very good singer, and her songs are very catchy. My favourites are ‘Curiosity’, ‘Run Away With Me’ and ‘Drive’.
